Texas
So I live in Texas, and unfortunately you do not hear of too many sighting here in Texas. A couple years a go the parks department I believe in Round Rock Texas reported having found Bigfoot tracks but the story came out to be a hoax. In Texas a lot of land is privately owned so out side of state parks it is hard to just wander.
I do have a friend that has over 480 acres that had told me of some strange occurrences, so my sister and I decided to go and walk around. This would only be a day trip. Though after spending a few hours not too much was found other than a bedding area under trees. Definitely could have been deer. But I will tell you of the fright I have.
So here in Texas we have what we call the Giant Lichen spider that builds the giant thick webs across pathways. I mean these webs can have a 6ft diameter. Now I do have a case of arachnophobia, especially when caught by surprise. As long as I know the spider is there already I am good. We were walking along a narrow pathway and I walked right into the middle of one of the webs. I about died! my sister said I had turned white. FORTUNATELY, the spiders do not hang out in their web during the day, mostly at night. In the pics below I am providing what the spiders look like. No bigfoot encounter, but I did get a good scare.
