Odor in my car.
Ozark, Alabama
One morning I went to my car parked on the carport to the side of my house where I lived. I never had to lock my car. As soon as I opened the car door the weirdest odor hit me, and it was very strong. It was a musty, old, wet dog kind of smell. It was overwhelmingly strong. I sat in the car to start it up, as I had to go into town. Now, we know animals can't open doors. I kept looking in the rear of the car as if something, or someone was in the back seat. The smell was awful! I kept looking in the back seat the whole trip to town and back. It took about 3 days for the odor to go away. Never found out what or where that odor came from. I kept my car locked after that.
